Pricing example:

One Character, Simple Background, Ink and Flat Color, with full recording.

Base price is 5 +5 = 10

Style is 1 + 0.2 + 0.25 = 1.45

Extras are $2

Final price = ( Base * Style ) + Extras

Final Price is (10 *1.45) + 2 = $16.5

I will not draw scatological fetish, explicit rape, or vore.  I will draw most other topics if I feel I have the skill.  Please feel free to ask if you are uncertain.

HOW TO COMMISSION
1. Send me a note on deviantArt with your idea and and how you want it drawn based on my price guide.  INCLUDE REFERENCES AND ALL RELEVANT MATERIAL.  If you leave something out, I assume you want me to take some artistic liberty.
2. If I accept your commission, I will provide you with my Payal email and work out any details ahead of time.  I require full payment before I begin, and will give you a refund you if I have to cancel.
3. I will work on your picture, showing you various WIPs along the way.  You can provide feedback at each step and I will attempt to adjust the picture to accommodate.
4. When the picture is complete, I will sign it and upload it to my relevant art accounts.  You will be provided with the completed normal resolution picture and any relevant extras.  You may request a high-definition file and the base file if you so desire for no additional charge.


BASE PRICE
Character sketch, Simple                $5 Base price, per character
A bust or other partial image. or single simple character.  Up to one minor prop.

Character sketch, Complex                $10 Base price, per character
A single complex-design character, a complex pose or perspective, or a simple character with complex props.

Background, Simple                    $5 Base price
A scene with little perspective or detail.  An artistic pattern, a lightly clouded sky, a patch of grass, or a cutout scene with only a few details.

Background, Complex                $10 Base price
A complex scene with a high amount of perspective or detail.  A messy room,  a forest with patchy foliage, looking down from a roof into town, or an bugs-eye view.

Series                            +$2.50 Base price, per variation
If you want a series of pictures that requires only a small change from the original sketch, such as a mini comic or a set of variations on a single picture, then this is the option for you.  Any variation that is too complex must be calculated as an additional character or background as appropriate.

STYLE
Ink                            +25% to base price.
Sketch lines are drawn over with strong lines in a manner and colors of your choice.
If you want a lineless-style shaded commission, you are STILL REQUIRED TO INCLUDE THE INK FEE due to the refining process requiring much of the same effort.

Flat Color                        +20% to base price
Unshaded color is added to the characters and background..  All shading MUST include flat color.  Ink is not required.

Simple shading                    +50% to base price.
Shading that doesn't take a lot of time to render.  Cel-shading, or one or two layers of simple shading or highlights from simple light sources.  Can be sharp-edged or blurred.

Complex shading                    +75% to base price
Shading that takes a good amount of time and consideration to render. Full value shading with gradients, a limited or unusual color palette, or a simple unfamiliar style.

Ultra-complex shading                +125% of base price.
Shading that is very difficult or time consuming for me.  Multiple complex light sources, a difficult painting style, or a complex color palette.

EXTRAS
Fully Streamed                    $2 extra
I will stream via Livestream all progress on your commission every time I work on it, at a time scheduled for your convenience.  Streamed video benefits from allowing some amount of real-time input on your piece and letting you have a social experience to share as your commission is completed.   If I stream your commission on my own I will not charge you for it.  Streams can be either private or public, at your option.  My internet sucks, and the cost here also helps cover the fees incurred when I go over my monthly bandwidth limit by streaming.

Fully Recorded                    $2 extra
I will fully record all progress on your commission every time I work on it, and will upload it for your later download.  Recorded videos benefit from better quality compared to streaming and avoid potential difficulties that may occur when trying to watch a stream.  My internet sucks, and the cost here also helps cover the fees incurred when I go over my monthly bandwidth limit by uploading large video files.

Fully Streamed and Recorded                $3 extra
The best of both!  I will stream and record all progress on your commission every time I work on it.  Watch the piece drawn live and get a video for later too, at half the cost.

Practice doodles                    $5 extra for up to three doodles
If you want to be sure that whatever you commissioned is drawn just a little bit better or you wanted to squeeze in a little more content without paying too much, this is a great choice.  I will spend some time sketching one to three practice doodles related to your commission.  This lets me familiarize myself with the scene or character while giving you some early feedback on how I might draw it too.

I post a LOT of doodles, sketches, and WIP stuff on my tumblr that doesn't end up on my dA.  I only like posting finished stuff here on dA, although I might post a sketch collection for last year's doodles at some point.  If you'd like to see that sort of thing, please feel free to take a look there.

Feb 13th.

I'd like to raise some money to help upgrade from a Bamboo to an Intuos5, but they aren't exactly cheap and I am not exactly employed right now.  I tried buying the Monoprice tablet that has been getting some talk lately but there is a fatal flaw in how Paint Tool SAI handles multiple monitors that causes the tablet driver to break and not map to one monitor, so my hope of a cheap, large size alternative was dashed.

I'm not the greatest artist and I've only ever drawn MLP characters, but if there would be some interest in commissions I could try it.  I've only ever received one inquiry from someone wanting to commission me and it was for dA points or an art trade.  I don't even know how much I would charge since I don't feel like my art is good enough to charge $20-30 for stuff equivalent to my good colored pieces but anything less and I'm practically wasting my time.  Other artists provide excellent art at great prices and I don't have a liked, recognizable style or any sort of fame that would help either, so I don't really know how I would compete with that.
